Ingredients
Burger Patty
- 1 pound ground beef or protein of choice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Base
- 4 cups lettuce or mixed greens or base of choice
Toppings
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or cheese of choice
- 0.5 cup diced red onion
- 0.5 cup sliced pickles
- 0.5 cup diced tomatoes
- 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled optional
Sauce
- 0.25 cup burger sauce or sauce of choice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the patties to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, until they are browned and cooked to your preferred doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare your base. In four separate bowls, divide the lettuce or mixed greens.
- Once the patties are cooked, slice or crumble them. Add them to each bowl over the greens.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese, red onion, pickles, and tomatoes.
- If desired, add crumbled bacon and other favorite toppings.
- Drizzle the burger sauce over each bowl. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious burger bowl.
